American FCC Certification
Introduction to American FCC Certification
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC), established by COMMUNICATIONACT in 1934, is an independent body of the U.S. government, directly responsible to Congress. FCC coordinates domestic and international communications by controlling radio, television, telecommunications, satellites and cables. In order to ensure the safety of radio and wire communications products related to life and property in more than 50 states, Colombia and the United States, the Office of Engineering and Technology of the FCC is responsible for the technical support of the Committee and for equipment accreditation. Many radio applications, communication products and digital products are required to be approved by the FCC in order to enter the American market. The FCC Committee investigates and studies all stages of product safety to find out the best way to solve the problem. At the same time, the FCC also includes radio equipment, aircraft testing and so on.

There are great differences in the certification methods and procedures of these three products. There are relevant provisions in the FCC for different products'optional certification methods. The severity of its certification is decreasing. For these three certifications, the FCC Committee also has relevant requirements for each laboratory.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) - Manages the import and use of radio frequency devices, including computers, fax machines, electronic devices, radio reception and transmission equipment, radio remote control toys, telephones, personal computers and other products that may harm personal safety. If these products are to be exported to the United States, they must be tested and approved by government-authorized laboratories in accordance with FCC technical standards. Importers and customs agents are required to declare that each radio frequency device meets the FCC standard, that is, the FCC license.
